Yesterday Baby D was born 27 weeks early. There was not much there but I know there was a big spirit inside of him. He will forever watch over us and bring happiness and health to our family. We know that he is in a better place with new friends; his great grandparents, aunts, and uncles. We plan to bury him and plant a tree in my parents' backyard so that he can be with us on holidays and at pool parties during the summer. We will celebrate his short life every year on November 7, 2010.

1st Appointment
My first appointment was today at 10:30. Madeline came with me...which will not happen again! She was all over the place, but they did love seeing her again. They couldn't believe she was already 14 months! I met with one of the student midwives! We went over all of my current information and since nothing really changed we were able to get through that really quickly. Then Madeline went and played with Dee (the new midwife) while I got my examination. Everything looks good and I am right on schedule at 9 weeks. The student midwife set my due date as May 16th, but I am going to continue with May 21st since I go late anyway. We did not even try to listen to the heartbeat b/c it is still a little early...which is why daddy didn't even come. I think he will try to make the next one which is on Nov. 9th.

Morning Sickness
Last Thursday I kind of started to feel a little bit of monring sicking. Madeline and I were out shopping for some winter clothes for her and I started to feel nauseous. We hurried to the closest Chick-fil-a so that I could get something to eat and after I ate a little I felt much better. I have not felt nearly as bad as I did for Madeline, but I do still feel a little sick every now and then.

Showing
On Tuesday Madeline and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. I had on a fitted tank top (that I had just wore two week ago for our walk) and when I looked down I noticed that I had a bump right under my boobs. I emailed Jeremy and told him that I think I was starting to showing. I was thinking he was going to tell me I was crazy, but instead he emailed back and said he thought that the night before, but didn't want to be wrong. haha So yep...at only 6 weeks I started showing this time around.

Bootcamp
Mommy is keeping up with bootcamp just like with Madeline!!!! I hope to continue until I am 7 and a half month pregnant like last time. It is going well right now...I just have to stop and rest every now and then. Wish me luck!

How many I feeling?
I have been feeling pretty good! I have been a little tired at times, but over all not too bad. I do take naps with Madeline, which is nice and I guess what is keeping me going. I have felt a good amount of round ligament pains, but I think that is very normal. I have had a couple times when I feel a little nauseous, but nothing too bad. Oh and then I, of course, gag on my tooth brush every morning and night. But over all I have felt really good so far!

Names
Ok so, just like last time, we already have the names picked out.
If it is a boy, which I know it is, he will be named Louis Robert Dartez. We once again wanted to make sure that he would have the initials LRD just like grandpa, grandpa (Mr. Ralph), and Uncle Ralph. We picked Louis b/c of Uncle Lou and then we found Robert on the Dartez family tree also...one of grandpa's brother's middle name was Robert.
If it is a girl she will be named Annabelle Claire Dartez...and we are thinking about calling her Belle! She will be named after mommy, Maw Maw, Gi, and Aunt Missy. Mommy's middle name was Claire and the others had the middle name of Ann.
Oh and we will also not be finding out the sex again. We the surprise!!!!

First Appointment
I called Nativiti this morning and made my first appointment...Oct 11 at 10:30. As of now I think my due date will be around May 21...then add two weeks! haha
So far I have been feeling fine! I have been, of course, a little tired and I have been eating so much! I already started having round ligament pains, which I know is very common to start feeling things early with your second child. I think that was actually my first sign that I was pregnant. A couple weeks ago I felt something that I had felt in about 12 months and I thought...wow could that be a round ligament pain. I am glad to now know that is what it was and not something else. I am so happy to have another baby growing inside of me. I can't wait to meet him (or her)! :)

I went and took a test around 12:30 and I figured no way was this one going to come back positive after the last 10 here negative...well to my surprise it was positive! I was so excited! I think I walked around in circles for a few minutes not knowing what to do. I wanted to tell someone, but I wanted to surprise Jeremy with a cake when he got home from work. I wanted to do that when we found out about Madeline, but it didn't work out. So I decided that since Madeline was at MDO until 2:00 I had time to run and pick her up a T-shirt before I went and got her. I found one at Baby's 1st Furniture that I really liked. Then I went and picked her up from school and we were off to the store to get cake mix. Jeremy got home later to find this!
Madeline is going to be a Big Sister!!!!!!!!!
YAY!!!!! I decorated it in blue b/c I think it is going to be a boy! 
And of course, I have to include a picture of the test! :) 
After the three of us celebrated I sent a text message to Maw Maw with a picture of Madeline in her shirt. She didn't get it fast enough for me, so I called her and told her about Madeline's shirt. Maw Maw was with Carly, Aunt Jeanne, Camden, and Brendan. Then I text Paw Paw and Aunt Missy with the same picture. They were all really excited about having another little one in the family...#8. I tried calling Gi and Grandpa, but no one answered so I called Aunt Jennifer. She was really excited to hear some good news. I told her I think it is a boy and she was happy about that, but said she would love to have another little girl too! Later Gi called back and daddy told her the good news. They are very excited about spoiling another grandchild! Then I call Aunt Doreen and told her about our bun in the oven! I of course had to text Mrs. Julie and tell her. We ended the great night by watching the Saints win the first NFL game of the season (well we went to bed at half time...but they did win!)
